Pedal to the metal.

 

Yes it hurts, slow at first then suddenly like you're inside a furnace trying to deflect and redirect the pain not letting tension overwhelm you.

It becomes almost surreal.. Beyond the pain as everything slows down and you're trying to keep moving against this thick clear fluid which has enveloped you and slowing your once powerful moves.

You feel like your drowning in lactic acid, well almost but you do adapt and actually start using lactic acid as fuel, and now your growth hormones are a pumpin baby, yea feed me some HGH.

The levels of tension relaxation can be gaged by intensity and time, and so they call it surging, sprinting, fartlek, or Tabata the only thing that matters is we have been doing this for a long time.

It hurts yes it does.. But for me it's worked well

 

So let's toast, to every so often... Put the petal to the metal.
